Description

Details are currently provisional. However, the event is due to start with parallel Workshops on the morning of Monday 23rd April:

09:30-12:00 New Heads Workshop – Dr Iain Phillips

10:15-12:15 Athena SWAN – Professor Carron Shankland

The main Conference start time is 12:30 and will close at approximately 12.30 on Tuesday 24th April, followed by a networking lunch for delegates .

Further Workshops will be run after lunch on Tuesday:

13:30-15:00 ORBIT (Observatory for Responsible Research and Innovation in ICT) Workshop - Professor Bernd Stahl

13:30-15:00 Degree Apprenticeships – Professor Alastair Irons

The main Conference programme will include updates on REF, TEF (subject pilot), the Institute of Coding, the National Computing Centre and recent initiatives (including work with UKCRC, BCS, IET and EPSRC) on equality, diversity and inclusion.

A Conference programme is taking shape and will be available very soon.

As with previous Conferences there will also be a Conference Dinner on the evening of Monday 23rd April (venue TBC). You will be able to indicate on the booking system whether you wish to bring a guest. Please complete all of the necessary sections so that we can arrange adequate catering requirements.

Refund Policy:

A full refund will be issued if a cancellation is received within 14 days of the booking date, otherwise, name substitutions will be allowed after this date.

Things to note:
There are limited places for the Workshops, so please book early.
